This is the first installment from the visual novel game trilogy, which was followed by Purrfect Apawcalypse 2 and Purrfect Apawcalypse 3.

Set in a school that is in the midst of an apocalypse and invaded by the demons, you are out to find someone nice whom you could possibly spend the last hours of your life with. As much as you can, you aim to have a perfect apocalypse and die in your happiest state. However, this will be challenging as various cats and dogs present here are not as trustworthy as they appear. Some of them will attempt to mass-murder other pets for revenge.
In this dating simulation game, you have all the options to choose the dog you want to be your companion and end up with. This could be Patches, the book-loving dalmatian; Sparky, the athletic huskie; and Brownie, the brash and energetic corgi. Your eyes will have a feast for its stunning art style with lively and adorable designs. Looking at the graphics, you wouldn’t even suspect that it contains mature subjects such as cartoonish gore scenes.
This game offers a high replayability rate as you can explore various routes and endings. With that in mind, it can provide more than an hour of playtime. Even though it is a cute-looking interactive fiction game, there are scenes that can trigger you such as blood, bifurcated dogs, headless dogs, and more Thus, if you are squeamish to these things, it's probably best for you to skip them.
